Yasuhara Chemical values good relationships with customers, business partners, shareholders and investors, employees, and the local community. We actively engage in various social contribution activities, reflect the needs of society in our corporate activities, and aim to become a more trusted company.
Health and Safety Initiatives
Disaster Prevention Training
We regularly conduct emergency training, including joint comprehensive training with the local fire department, oil spill response (deploying training of oil booms), and rescue simulations for confined space workers. After each training session, we have lively discussions on reviewing and improving procedures.
AED Installation and First Aid Training
With recent development of emergency medical care, we have installed AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) and conduct first aid training for employees by certified paramedics from the local fire department.
Contribution to the local community
Cleanup Activities
We regularly conduct neighborhood cleanup activities at each of our locations to promote understanding and cooperation with local residents, to show our gratitude, and to deepen our ties with the local community.
Employee Support
Childcare Support
We are registered under the Hiroshima Prefecture Work-Family Balance Support Company Registration Program, and our action plan is publicly available on the prefecture’s website. We also provide paid leave that can be taken on the same day for sudden illnesses of children.
Employee Training
We provide continuous training for all employees, including executives. We also encourage employees to participate in correspondence education, e-learning, and external training to foster a continuous learning culture.
